Step back in time inside Yardley’s historic 1877 AME Church for a visual journey through the founding of Yardleyville. This image-rich lecture explores Quaker settlement, canal history, the story of the “Boatyard lot,” and the seven-generation legacy of the Derry family. Rare documents and photos illuminate the deep roots of Yardley’s African American community and the town’s Underground Railroad connections. A Q&A provides time for community reflection.
