Pieced Together: American Quilts Across Generations, a Pearl S. Buck House Exhibit

Explore American quilting traditions from the Civil War era to the present. This exhibit covers 163 years of quilts made by women. It encompasses a plethora of designs, colors, and components of American quilting. This exhibit features a remarkable range of quilts on display throughout the rooms of the Pearl S. Buck House National Historic Landmark Museum, from early utilitarian quilts reflective of 19th‑century life to contemporary art quilts, including pieces that have won awards in regional and national quilt shows.
